Every business starts with an idea, but Assist & Co started with a feeling.

 

Many years ago, while balancing a full-time job, I was helping my family support my nan through dementia. We rallied together—taking shifts, leaning on each other, and doing everything we could. We were exhausted, but you do whatever it takes for the people you love.

Still, I couldn't help wondering: what if there was another way?

As wonderful as our carers were, time-crunched visits left no room for meaningful connection. Between meals, cleaning, and personal care, there was never time left over just to be with her. I saw how heavy that load was on our family, trying to balance endless chores with spending quality time together.

There was a clear gap between transactional house cleaning, rushed care visits, and the warm, holistic support families actually need.

That realization became the spark for Assist & Co. Driven by purpose, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management. 

Stepping out at my graduation at Westminster, I felt my nan’s presence so strongly—I knew she was right there with me.

I founded Assist & Co to provide the extra pair of hands families need. 

By pairing meticulous home organization and cleaning with warm, person-first companionship, we lighten the everyday burden so homes run smoothly and lives feel connected.

Assist & Co was built to offer the heart-led support and genuine friendship I wished had been there for my own family. My nan was my anchor, and everything I build here is in her honor. Through Assist & Co, her warmth lives on in every home, family, and individual we support.
