• ​Bank transfer (BACS): Our preferred method for secure, transparent transactions.
• ​Secure online payment: Pay your invoice digitally via debit or credit card.
• ​Cash: Accepted for the remaining balance upon completion of the service.

​Booking Deposits & Cancellations:

To secure your appointment and confirm your scheduled slot, a deposit is required in advance via bank transfer. This secures your date and allows us to allocate team members, travel time, and specialist equipment to your home or site.

• ​Cancellations with 72+ hours’ notice: Your deposit can be fully transferred to a rescheduled date.
• ​Cancellations under 72 hours: Deposits are non-refundable to cover reserved diary time, staff scheduling, and administrative costs.
• ​Same-day cancellations & lockouts: Visits cancelled on the day, or where access cannot be gained upon arrival, will be charged the full balance to cover committed staff wages and travel.

​At Assist & Co, we understand that plans can change. Because our team reserves dedicated time slots, allocates staff, and prepares equipment specifically for your property, we kindly ask for adequate notice should you need to cancel, reschedule, or adjust access.

• ​Arrival Windows & Travel: While we always strive to arrive promptly at your scheduled booking time, please allow a standard arrival window of 15 to 20 minutes to account for traffic, school runs, parking, and equipment unloading. If an unavoidable delay exceeds this window, our team will contact you as soon as it is safe to do so.

• ​Property Access & Key Arrangements: Ensuring our team can safely gain access to your property is the client’s responsibility.
  • ​If you will not be present during your scheduled booking, written access instructions (e.g., key safe location/code or designated collection point) must be confirmed prior to each visit, unless a permanent key-holding arrangement is formally agreed in writing.
  • ​Please understand our team cannot guess, assume, or search for unattended or hidden keys without explicit, prior written confirmation for that specific booking.

• ​Notice Period: We require at least 72 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of scheduled cleans, turnover visits, or companionship services.

• ​Late Cancellations (Under 72 Hours): Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice will incur a fee equal to 50% of the total service cost.

• ​Same-Day Cancellations & Lockouts: If a service is cancelled on the day of the appointment, or if our team arrives and cannot access the property after waiting a minimum of 15 minutes and attempting to make contact (lockout/no access), the full 100% fee will apply to cover staff allocation and travel costs.

• ​Airbnb & Short-Stay Hosts: We understand guest schedules can be unpredictable; please notify us immediately of any guest booking changes so we can try to adjust your slot subject to team availability.

• ​Exceptional Circumstances: Genuine emergencies are handled fairly and with discretion on a case-by-case basis.
